We Are the River Vale Raiders

The River Vale Junior Football Association is a football and cheerleading program for boys and girls living in the Township of River Vale, New Jersey.  One of eight teams in the Northern Bergen Junior Football League (NBJFL), we are an independent and self-funded football program governed by the league's rules and regulations.

While RVJFA is a competitive program, the scoreboard alone does not measure our success. Our seasons are judged by the experience and knowledge we provide to the children. When we are successful in teaching our kids about teamwork, good sportsmanship, accountability and discipline, we are all winners.



Our Mission
The River Vale Junior Football Association's mission is to provide children with the opportunity to learn perseverance, teamwork, fair play, self-confidence and determination. Competition is healthy and instructive. The focus of sports should be on effort, improvement in skills, and the development of courage to be able to make mistakes and recover from them. This is the goal of the River Vale Junior Football Association.​
